Lunch and the Blue Line Cape Town, South Africa

Shopped and had lunch at The Watershed. It is a gathering of local artisans selling all sorts of handmade goods. Lunch was a very yummy hummus dish topped with a phyllo wrap stuffed with mushroom duxelle covered in whipped feta. And a cup of Rooibos tea.

Hopped on the Big Red bus BLUE line. We got a bit passed the Chinese embassy and came to a standstill. Some ways ahead a very large tree fell across the road. We are now waiting for someone to cut it up ...I hear the saws now!

More after I get back to hotel and take a nap!!

My lunch

Nivik Hummus Bowl...all fresh homemade deliciousness

Seeing all of the sights...McD's

KFC

Random views along BLUE line...gorgeous clear blue sky

There's a castle up there.

Makeshift street market

Traffic backup in Embassy district. Huge tree fell across the road. Luckily didn't hit anything. Took about 45 minutes to get someone there with saw. Amazing how people got out of their cars to help! This is a normal response. We don't see that too often at home.

Supper at restaurant. It wasn't very memorable however. 😁
