Yesterday afternoon had a shoulder/neck massage and some crazy fancy facial by Mary. She is very concerned about my dry skin and tension in shoulders. 😁 Well, I had just returned from a game drive so there's that and my shoulders are tense because anytime you go anywhere on this continent it is by van, truck, jeep, etc. I have to find the oh sh*t handles and anything else stable to pull my big sorry butt up. So biceps are doing well and torn ligament in right shoulder hasn't flared up...but when I get home there's another surgery in my future.
Today is pretty chill as well. Kris the taxi driver is picking me up at 9 to go to the Mukuni Crafts Market. I hope to find a little something to bring home. Oh found these cute bracelets in Botswana...I hope they are bracelets.😬
Then, start packing! I'm halfway through my adventure so I'm hoping I can pack one carryon and put it inside the Big checked bag. Might just work!
Just thoughts I want to get down so if I forget years from now the blogs can help me remember...
Chibwabwa are stewed pumpkin leaves. Very much like spinach but not bitter.
Wait 5 to 10 minutes after getting food at buffet. Everyone will come by to greet you and ask about your day or how you slept all while a piece of veggie lasagna dangles precariously off the end of your fork millimeters from your mouth. They could be halfway across the room and there was no eye contact. If you hear ma'am, look...it probably is YOU.😁
Yes that was a dead mosquito in the salad dressing on the breakfast buffet. Did it dive in on purpose or was pushed, who knows. Peaceful Sleep. I wonder if I can bring some home? It is so effective that it probably has some ingredient that is banned in US 😬
Ok...done rambling for the moment. Will return later hopefully with some good pics of Livingstone and market.
