A Lazy Day in Cape Town, South Africa

Ok...most of souvenir list accomplished. Of course stopped for an iced latte and a vanilla creme cronut....WHAT? Cronuts made it to Cape Town...and didn't have wait in a 2 hour line to get one. Very tasty...only quirk...lemon not vanilla🤣🤣 but still so good. 

Searching high and low for Loxtonia Stonefruit cider. Hit up the Pick n Pay, Woolworth, and finally Checkers. Checkers is a very nice grocery store with lots of fresh food, hot buffet, and wine cellar....but no other liquor. Asked the clerk. She had no idea what I was asking. A woman in line next to me pointed me in right direction to the Checkers liquor store. Ah I see. Still had to dig for it in a walk in fridge and asked 2 workers. They looked high and low...on the very top shelf! YEA I have bubblewrap and zip lock bags to wrap the bottles since they have a few airplane rides until home. 😁

Back to hotel for packing and wandering. Then, pizza! I've been thinking about it for days.

Cronut! It was very good but weighed about 5 lbs!
