Wow! When the weather changes here it gets wild. I took a nap and woke up to howling wind and rain pounding on the windows....but why aren't the palm trees moving? Some magical force?🤷♀️😁
We walked around to find all sorts of homemade goodies, the braai guy, Korean street food along side handicrafts, hand made clothing, baskets, fresh flowers, and beautiful fresh organic veggies. You can get pretty much anything you need!
As Lynette and I sipped and chatted I noticed someone next to me, look up and it Natasha and Elize! They decided to stop by on their way to pick someone up at the airport. They so sweetly had a mug made for me. Yes, if you just put money down on whether or not I teared up...you won! Happy tears. You know me well, my friends😁
I'm about 95% packed. Natasha's big orange suitcase is full. So I can't buy anything else...yeah, right...there's still space. So came here with 1 checked bag, 2 carryon. Leaving with 2 checked bags and 1 carryon.
Lynette and the prehistoric flowers that are now my faves!
A little KFC anyone?? Korean Fried Chicken
Grilled sausages of all types
Flowers everywhere
Fresh produce and HORDES of people!
And my mug from Elize and Natasha! What a great way to remember them and Cape Town!
