Let's just say the difference between Livingstone, Zambia, Radisson blu and good Ole Holiday Inn is really apparent when you open the curtains.😁
Back to mall for lunch. Savannah Grill looks great on the outside but inside is a little ...something. This mall was built in 2017 and we are in the diplomatic region of the city. Passed French embassy on way from airport. But everything is...Rough around the edges like it has been here for decades.
The menu is quite a variety but not huge. Lots of US influence as well as Middle Eastern and South Asian. I'm really having a pizza craving but theirs just didn't appeal😉 I've looked through menus at other places and no pork. Beef pepperoni and macon...macon? Baconized mutton. And, of course, goat. I did try goat way back in Yemen. It is not for me.
After this, a hunt for the one ATM that gives US dollars. Now why would I need those. Well, I exchanged everything I had left earlier this AM but one of my tour guides wants US. Arg...hopefully this place comes through!
